• Can I join the Shipmates & Oppos Programme?

  This free Programme is open to all former Ratings, Other Ranks and Officers and their families, regardless of length of service - even if you've only served for one day - and regardless of when you left.

  To join please visit our 'Join' page and fill in the form titled 'Become a Programme Member'.

• How do I get my free association membership?

  Answer

  If you're already a member of the Shipmates & Oppos Programme, you can also activate a year's free membership to the Associations that are delivering the Programme. Simply visit our 'join' page and fill in the green form titled 'Existing Programme Members'.

• Is there an age limit on who's entitled to the Programme's support?

  Answer

  No, this Programme supports all leavers of the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, QARNNS, the respective Reserves, or the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. Your needs may change throughout your civilian life, and the Shipmates & Oppos Programme is here to support you whenever you need us.

• How do I tell you of a change in my contact details?

• How much is Shipmates & Oppos Programme membership?

  It's completely free. As a Programme member, you're also entitled to one year's free membership to our partner Associations, where applicable.
